Direct to lift ticketing new this year! LEARN MORE ABOUT RFID

Introducing RFID Ticketing!

Great Bear Ski Valley is making it easier to get straight to the fun this winter! We’re introducing RFID ticketing direct to lift for skiing and snowboarding, allowing guests to spend less time at Guest Services and more time on the slopes.

With the new system, guests who have a season pass or purchase daily lift tickets online will no longer need to stop at Guest Services to print their tickets before heading to the lifts.

What Is RFID Ticketing?

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. This technology uses a small chip embedded in a pass to communicate with readers at designated lift access points, allowing guests to access the slopes without a traditional ticket. Passes are reloadable for future visits.

What Does This Mean for Your Visit?

  • Skip the ticket window: Purchase your daily lift ticket online and head straight to the lifts without stopping at Guest Services to print it.
  • Simplify season pass access: RFID technology makes accessing the slopes easier for season passholders.
  • Make more memories: Spend more of your day skiing, snowboarding and enjoying winter with family and friends.

A Better Guest Experience Starts Here

At Great Bear Ski Valley, we’re always looking for ways to improve the guest experience. RFID ticketing is another step in making your time on the hill easier and more enjoyable.

Whether you’re a season passholder, a regular on the slopes or planning your family’s first day on the snow, we can’t wait to welcome you back for another winter of fun.

RFID ticketing will not be implemented for tubing.

Less waiting. More riding. More Great Memories.

Stay tuned to our website and social media channels for additional details about our new RFID ticketing system. We’ll see you on the slopes!
