Great Bear is excited to co-host the first inaugural Crazy Bear Ultra on Saturday, July 18!

The name comes from our RD’s favorite race, Crazy Mountain 100, and his favorite place to train, Great Bear Ski Valley.
This is one challenging course, est. 1,200’ of climbing per 6-ish mile loop. We will be starting in front of the Bear Den (Chalet) which will be open for whomever may want to stop by for food, maybe grab a beverage, and watch people run down the ski hill to the start/finish line.
This is the ultimate celebration of the trail and ultra communities.

50k: 10:15 AM
30k: 12:15 PM
20k: 2:15 PM

All races to conclude by 6:15 PM. Which mean the following will be the cutoff times for an official finish:
50k: 8 hours
30k: 6 hours
20k: 4 hours
