Great Bear Ski Valley will host its annual end of season bash this weekend! Stop by for SnirtFest on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Skiing & snowboarding will also be open to the public Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9 am to 9 pm (season passholders may start at 8 am) with limited runs. The park is offering discounted $25 lift tickets!
Great Bear will be closed Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20 to renovate the snow.
SnirtFest will mark the last day of the 2025/2026 ski season. The Kirby Family Tubing Park is closed for the season.
“Two more days of skiing wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated parks department employees who are renovating and grooming the snow we have left after a historic stretch of warm weather,” said assistant general manager Alexa Jerstad. “Saying goodbye to ski season is always sad, but we’re looking forward to one more weekend celebrating winter with our community.”
As a bonus, Great Bear’s 5th Grade Days deal of $15 for a lift ticket and rental gear will be extended to Saturday, February 21 for one last day of having fun on the slopes!
Each year, Great Bear celebrates the end of winter with a festival of fun events – snow plus dirt equals SnirtFest! This year’s theme is Disney, so dress up and come on out!
- 12 p.m. Costume Contest
- 1 p.m. Limbo & Ollie Contest
- 2:30 p.m. Zipfy Sled Race
All event proceeds will benefit the Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety. It is $10 to enter each event. Unfortunately, due to cooler temps, Great Bear will not be hosting it’s annual pond skim event.
Early bird season pass sale for the 2026/2027 season starts March 1, 2026 with the lowest prices of the year!
Tentative map of runs open Feb. 21 & Feb. 22.
