Great Bear Recreation Park

This yeas was awesome! There could have been a few more smaller jumps though. I really liked the picnic table at the beginning of the year so you can practice spins on it, but at the end it was too steep. Overall awesome season!

Decent year, speed up the lift, definitely need more jumps. More vertical jumps on not the long flat one. Do a rhythm section of jumps that buck you upwards not outwards. Also, expand on the boxes. Mainly jumps though, you need more jumps. Too much grinding, not enough air.

We haven't skiid skied (how do you spell it?!) ... gone skiing since we moved from Colorado in 2004, I want to thank your excellent staff, especially the gal at the front desk who took extra effort to get us a lesson, the guy from Brazil on the bunny slope who didn't laugh every time I fell especially when getting on the runway, and Andrew- who patiently taught Elijah and Andy how to ski!) for making it a wonderful day for my family! Too bad we only got in on the last day you were open! Bloody weather! Anyway, there's always next year I guess. Hope to see you all then, meantine have a great summer! I loved this year's park setup - if people aren't happy with all the boxes maybe next year we could do one line of boxes, one line of rails, and one line of jumps? I'd like to see the baby park stay on the bunny hill or somewhere really flat like that next year, that slope it was on for most of the season made it more difficult (or "less ridiculously easy" if you will) which kinda defeats the whole purpose. The rope separating Long Way Home from Polar Pass was a great idea, that section of the hill seemed a lot less chaotic this year with the rope up. I also really liked how (relatively) well the quarterpipe was maintained this year, I'd really like it if that was the case again next year. Thanks for a great season to all the Great Bear staff!!!

Had a fun time @ GB this year. Being an over 30 visitor, it would be nice if parents supervised their children more, GB isn't a daycare provider. But it would be nice if an employee could monitor the lift loading area... never saw so many line jumpers before. Also, make your "Limit 1, 4, or 6" signs by the tubing runs larger.

This season was a great one. I feel that I improved, and Great Bear improved. The park was dialed especially after the rail jam. It had a mountain feel as to far how things were setup, so props to the park crew..though it could've been changed up a little bit the last month or so..all in all GOOD YEAR. make next years season even better. Thanks for the fun.

Aside from messing up my leg and having to go home early the one time I did make it out, I had a good time while I was there. Looking forward to (hopefully) making it down more often next year.

Liked the picnic table, good for beginners. Also liked the C-rail set up towards the end of the year. The large jump had a HUGE lip to it, which it could go both ways, good for more advanced but way too scary for anyone who wants to try it. As for how many boxes were out there, they are good for beginners, there were a few rails, not all boxes. That could go both ways too. Anyways, good setup, good year. Thanks Great Bear.

Good year! I dident like how slow the lift went most days. i get that its hard for beginners to get on the lift but you could just slow it down for them and speed it up once they are on the lift. The terrain park had way to many boxes and needed more jumps. OH and you need to open the woods run more often! almost every time i went it was closed with that orange tape! I love the staff and have become friends with most of them. (probably because my friends family works there) lol i had a lot of fun this year and can't wait for next! Couldent make it to s fest today, i really wanted to go lol!

pretty good year, park was decent. We should make a few more rails though, there are too many boxes in the park. And also learn how to actually terrace the park the right way

Great season!!! but you need to put more kinks out in the park not as many boxes.....
