Great Bear SnowSports School takes pride in having taught skiers and snowboarders for many years. Whether you are a novice or an experienced long-timer, with us you are sure to have fun while gaining a life-long skill. Our teaching methods follow the American Teaching System, which is adopted by the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Our professional staff of ski, cross-country and snowboard instructors focuses on a positive environment fostering progress at your own pace. Snowbears Flex Program

Ski and Snowboard
This program is offered Saturday mornings starting Dec 29th and ending on Feb 9th from 9am to 11am. Snowbears is for skiers 6-14 years of age and snowboarders 7-14 years of age. The program puts emphasis on safety and fun and allows participants to move through the levels at their own pace. You may register for a 3 lesson or a 5 lesson package. With the flex program you choose which Saturdays you would like your child to attend. Weekly class sign up is required for this program. The final day to register is December 31st.

Thursday Snowbears

Ski and Snowboard
Snowbears on Thursday is offered from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in two sessions. It's the same program as Saturdays but with scheduled dates. Snowbears is for skiers 6 - 14 years of age and snowboarders 7 - 14 years of age. The program puts an emphasis on safety and fun and allows participants to move through the levels at their own pace. Session I is January 3rd - 17th and is open only to those that have never skied or snowboarded before. Session II is January 31st - February 14th and will offer only levels 3 - 6. Pre registration is required and must be completed one week prior to the session you would like to attend. Space is limited so sign up early!

-Reservations are highly recommended
-Semi private and group lessons are only available to those 7 years of age and older
-Semi private and group lessons are not preset by the SnowSports School, those wishing to take one of these lessons will need to form their own group.
-Lesson do not include lift ticket and rentals unless otherwise specified
-Please arrive a half hour early for all scheduled lessons
